Why you should start using Claude Code.

The biggest change in 2025 for coders was -- launch of claude code and Opus 4.5 which brought a real agentic approach.

If we have to become a co-intelligent leader the first step is to become fluent in AI. And not just a chat but a real agentic approach.

Nothing beats working with Claude Code.

Anthropic has done a disservice by naming it "claude code" as this is for everyone. We have to use the terminal for this and I will come back to that.

First, you can access the purest form of AI and its power.

Second, you can read, edit and write files directly, no copy paste.

Third, you can do web searches and connect other other sources through MCPs and CLIs

Fourth, its agentic. You can give it a task and walk away and let it do. Super fun.

For example, yesterday I worked with Claude Code and Xero MCP to do my finances. Lots of wrong coding by my assistant that had to be redone, setting up some rules for future work, analysing my costs and in general maintaining financial hygiene.

The beauty, I could talk to Claude in simple english and my ideas and it got the job done. Don't need to even know all the ways Xero works.

This is the biggest unlock for all of us.
